Why We Homeschool
Why We Homeschool.
Andy and I are both public educators. We’ve worked in the public education system for over 15 years combined.
Nikki teaches home economics (family and consumer sciences is the latest and greatest term for the class).
Andy’s degree is in Agriculture, Spanish, and Welding.
He can take an “Average Joe” (often a juvenile delinquent), run him through his program, help him graduate and the kid will go off and make more money than your average college graduate with a bachelors degree.
Dirty hands clean money!
We homeschool our own kids.
Once we were telling our colleagues about how we homeschool and one of Andy’s coworkers said, “Oh so you’re kind of like the drug dealers that deal the drugs but wouldn’t actually take them.”
Yeah. That’s us.
I dare say our kids will end up just as “educated” as the rest of the kids that graduate from our public school system.
Stay Smart People✌🏼
It’s is not what you do for your children, but what you have taught them to do for themselves, that will make them successful human beings 🙏🏻💞🙌🏻
Love that you are giving your kids a good education and hands on experience together.
I give anyone props for homeschooling. Not for me. I have five kids ages 16 down to 2. And I could never do that. They need someone outside the home. But love that your husband does welding my husband decided to go to collage for it. 2 more Semesters and he done.
I married a homeschooled guy, hes one of the smartest and most successful people I know… I don’t homeschool because I don’t have the patience for it, but the benefits of it are amazing and I applaud all who do… Well done mom and dad for raising well rounded kids!!
I love your down to earth way! Your kids seem so happy, well balanced & respectful! Keep up the good work!
